As the newness of Spring comes around each year, it is with great anticipation that I begin to fill the house with spring-like colors, festive smells, and recreate the pinnacle piece to our home, the kitchen coffee stand.
Someone asked where do I find my key designs and pieces that fill the kitchen with the ever brightness for the Spring days ahead… I simply said my antique stores, Hobby Lobby, At Home, TJMaxx, HomeGoods, and of course my favorite spot QVC.
But I will tell you my adventures every weekend includes a new antique store that is filled with someone’s family heritage, their treasures from a decade ago or more, and the characteristics and charm from a simpler time.
Last weekend I visited The Depot, in Concord, North Carolina. For anyone traveling to the state and who would like to spend a day swooning over antiques and everything in between, it is only 2.5 hours from Asheville, 40 minutes from the Charlotte area of North Carolina. Here is their website: https://www.depotgibsonmill.com/
Oh, and the Lemonade sign by the coffee stand is from there… more treasures to be shared this week.
