About – Northern Roots and Southern Charm

Hi, I am Eden Gordon Hill.

I am a public relations professional that was in the world of political and nonprofit communications for many years, try 20 years!! I have created a strategic messaging structure to raise awareness for a spectrum of clients including book authors, celebrities, congressional candidates, veteran service organizations, and small businesses.

Today, I am still a public relations professional, but in this new season of my life I have been inspired by those closest to me to take a leap of faith and begin designing, decorating, and event coordinating!

I bring you to my Northern roots of Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts event and public relations planning.

Her vision is loved and is bicoastal. Her husband is from the great state of North Carolina and she has found the southern charm and her northern roots collaborate… It brings magic to the holiday traditions with a special recipe that can’t be found anywhere else.

Early on

In the years of running through the Halls of Congress, I have served as a professional communications staff member for both House and Senate Republicans including for The Honorable Mark Souder (R-IN), The Honorable Steve King (R-IA), and Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA). In addition, I also served as communications and spokesperson for former Presidential and Vice-Presidential Candidates Senator Fred Thompson and former Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, Senior Advisor for Communications during the Trump administration for the Office of Personnel Management.

Current

But, as we know our culture and ongoing changes to our society, I have found a great desire to provide event coordination and decorating that is inspired by my Northern Roots stemming from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. I have married a truly southern boy and with his southern cuisine and North Carolina fishing, I have brought the Southern Charm theme to this business as well.
